This has to be one of the fundamentally best values for a SmartPhone or App phone as David Pogue of the New York Times would say. $9.99 for a touch screen, open source, google powered, gmail loaded, freaking flickr'd, twitter able, facebook packed, google mapped, bar codable AND HTC SENSED!!!!... Verizon offers it BOGO(Buy ONE, get one FREE) but it's $99... Well the customers can do math now, after being brutally trained by the hard hitting Wireless carrier tactics... for $99 we can buy 4 from amazon and give one free to Verizon... any back to the lecture at hand...
HTC Eris is a cousin of the hit sensation HTC Hero. The HTC Hero rounded up raving reviews and crital acclaim world wide. The HTC Eris is Verizon's tailored version of this Google Android Powered Device. see here why the Eris/Hero are great devices, it's the HTC Sense that differentiates it from other droids, http://geniusphones.blogspot.com/2009/10/sprint-hero-android-makes-more-sense.html
